2025: Success Built on Partnership

A Message from the President

Greetings to Everyone Who Reads Our Newsletter!

Our company is successful because of the character, perseverance, skills, common sense, good judgement, creativeness, loyalty, experience, and entrepreneurial nature of our people.

Each and every job we worked on during 2025 was built with those traits. Those are not company traits; they are common traits among a group of people who happen to work at the same company. I see those traits in our company everywhere I look.

Some jobs went really smoothly and others had hiccups. That’s just the way construction is. Every job is dramatically different and has its own individual challenges. We don’t become overjoyed when something goes really well and we don’t get deeply depressed when something goes wrong. We just keep on going, doing our job, giving the best effort we have to give, every day.

I have read about many advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) this year. Construction, especially the type of work we do, will always be a people-oriented business. AI will not take over our roles. We will certainly be impacted by AI in some things we do, in our office, yet I don’t envision robots performing the complex work we perform on our job sites. We have a solid future in our business for skilled tradespeople, estimators, and managers. I mention this because we have plans to learn more about AI this year and I want you to know we are committed to remain a people-oriented construction business.

We celebrated our 25th year in business during October. I am very proud that we achieved that milestone. I am grateful for those who have worked here for 1, 5, 10, 20 or more years as well as those who have decided to join our company team this year. I appreciate each of you, for your character, perseverance, skills, common sense, good judgement, creativity, loyalty, experience, and entrepreneurship you bring to the job you do every week.

Respectfully and With Admiration,

bill-schultz
