| View in browser Q2 2026: Quarterly Newsletter     A Message From Michael Conaway: As we reach the midpoint of 2026, it's a great opportunity to reflect on what we've accomplished together and the momentum we've built as a company. One thing I've learned throughout my career is that every successful project begins long before equipment arrives on a jobsite. It begins with relationships, planning, communication, and a team of people committed to doing things the right way. At Schultz Construction, our success is built on collaboration. From business development and estimating to project management, field operations, safety, accounting, and administration, every department plays an important role in delivering quality projects for our clients. When one team succeeds, we all succeed. This year has brought exciting opportunities, challenging projects, and continued investment in our people and technology. We've welcomed new teammates, strengthened relationships with long-standing clients, expanded into new markets, and continued improving how we plan and execute our work. While the construction industry continues to evolve, our commitment to safety, quality, and outstanding customer service remains constant. What gives me the greatest confidence for the future isn't simply the work ahead of us—it's the people who make Schultz Construction what it is. Every day I see employees who take pride in their work, support one another, solve problems, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity. To our employees, thank you for your dedication and professionalism. To our clients, engineers, suppliers, and industry partners, thank you for your continued trust and confidence. We appreciate every opportunity to work alongside you. As we look toward the second half of the year, I'm excited about what lies ahead. Together, we'll continue building projects that strengthen our communities while building partnerships that last for generations.    Respectfully, Vice President of Pre-Construction, W.M. Schultz Construction   Project Updates Pictured: Chobani Wastewater Treatment Plant - Q2 2026 Chobani: The Chobani Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion project (M218) started in the spring of 2025 and concluded in May of this year. This project consisted of a wide range of skills; from pipe fitting to structural steel installation, as well as equipment integration and stainless-steel welding. The expansion included 3 new buildings, with newly integrated process equipment, and 3 new open-air tanks to support increase processing compacity of the plant. At the project’s peak, in the Fall of 2025, there were a total of 25 Schultz field employees on site working towards the Phase 1 startup of the newly integrated equipment prior to end of year 2025. The team proceeded to support a successful start-up of Phase 2, rehabilitation of the existing facility, in April 2026.  Feedback from the Chobani Operators has been positive in the months since the new system came online.  Oneida: The Oneida Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 2 upgrades project started in the spring of 2025 and concluded in June of this year. The job consisted of updating their waste pump well and upgrading their Influent Pump station. The final effort in June 2026 was to clean and paint all the newly installed pipe. Warwick: The Warwick Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrades project started in June of this year and is set to take place over the next 18 months. The work consists of upgrading and expanding the existing facility through a combination of new process systems and targeted conversions of existing structures. This includes installation of a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system, with associated blower building. As well as a new pump station and grit system. In addition, there will be significant renovation work that will repurpose existing infrastructure, converting secondary clarifiers into EQ tanks, transforming primary clarifiers into sludge holding basins, and replacing older sand filters with modern disk filters. The work will include coordination of new utilities, temporary facilities to maintain operations, demolition of select components, and full integration of new and existing systems to maintain continuous plant operation during construction. Hatfield: W.M. Schultz Construction completed a comprehensive upgrade to an existing wastewater treatment facility, delivering both new construction and rehabilitation of critical treatment processes. The project's centerpiece was a new headworks building equipped with mechanical screening, grit removal, automatic sampling, and an advanced SCADA system, complemented by replacement of aging secondary clarifiers, a new plant water pumping system, conversion of the chlorine gas building into a modern chemical feed facility, and a new electrical service with emergency backup generation. W.M. Schultz self-performed all cast-in-place concrete and reinforcing steel work, and through careful construction sequencing and close coordination with plant personnel, all existing treatment processes remained fully operational throughout construction. Industry Recognition NCTWC Partnership: W.M. Schultz Construction recently joined the Northeast Construction Trades Workforce Coalition, Inc. as a founding partner. We are proud to partner with this amazing organization in building pathways for tomorrow’s next skilled trade professionals. STEP Awards 2026: Schultz was awarded the Diamond level certificate from ABC Associated Builders and Contractors, in recognition of our ongoing Quality Safety Management Program, an ongoing effort to continue working on safe practices.  Company & Team Milestones Apprenticeship Alliance: Schultz and Merit proudly celebrated the graduation of three employees, presenting each with a certificate recognizing the successful completion of their respective apprenticeship programs. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. A special thank you to instructor Chris Smith, whose guidance and preparation were instrumental in helping these apprentices reach this important milestone.
